Activate Repost Mode

Use this option to activate Repost Mode in the Main Posting screen.

· In normal operations, after a transaction is reversed, the clerk will immediately return to the main posting screen. When this occurs Repost Mode is automatically activated. If the repost occurs later or for some other reason Repost Mode is not on, use this option to active Repost Mode.

· Repost Mode also ensures the repost transaction will be non-cash and appear on the Reversal/Repost report.

Menu CANCEL/REVERSE POSTING, option Activate Repost Mode

Select Activate Repost Mode, press <Enter>. This will set the Posting screen automatically activate to Repost Mode.

Once you press <Enter> and return to the main Posting screen the following Repost Mode message will appear.

Hit <Enter> to continue in Repost Mode or type C to clear the Repost mode.

Example: Use a Trans code 1, Principal pmt agency. It will then be reposted as a Non cash transaction.

Exit out of the Batch to clear the repost mode.
