The ability to interactively dial accounts from a Cubs WIP, is a popular feature of the CT Center interface. When initializing the CT Center session, the agent enters “CF” followed by the desk number of the WIP she wants to dial. This becomes the active list name.
Internally, the programming for getting the next WIP account to dial uses the same logic as the dot command in the Cubs Collector screen. If an account is marked as having been previously worked, it is bypassed. If an account is set to be contacted at a specific time, it will wait until that time before telling CT Center to dial the account. In addition to the dot command logic, it filters phone numbers and checks for exclusions before sending an account to the dialer.
Once an account is sent to CT Center, it is marked as having been worked. Therefore, it is OK to work a WIP both manually and through the dialer, either at different times or concurrently.
