The list of phantoms is sorted alphabetically by the logon name. Within logon name, it is sorted by phantom name.
N: Next page. Used if there are more phantoms than fit on a single page, and this is not the last page.
B: Back a page. Used if there are more phantoms than fit on a single page and this is not the first page.
A: Activates an empty Phantom Detail Screen for adding a new phantom process.
nbr: Activates the Phantom Detail Screen for the specified phantom number. That number must exist or an error message is displayed.
Q: Activates the Scheduled Processes Query screens.
D or Dnn: Delete a phantom which is not currently running. This prompt is only available if at lease one phantom is not currently running (either newly added, stopped, or hung). If “D” is entered, another prompt will display (nn, nn, nn):”. The “nn”s are a list of available phantoms. Entering “nn” will delete a specific phantom. If Dnn is entered, it is the same as if “D” is entered and “nn” is entered for the second prompt.
L or Lnn: Launch a phantom (or all phantoms). This prompt is only available if at lease one phantom is currently not running (either newly added, stopped, or hung). If “L” is entered, another prompt will display (nn, nn, nn, (A)ll):”. The “nn”s are a list of phantoms which are available to launch, but only for the current logon. Entering “nn” will launch a specific phantom. Entering “A” will launch all available phantoms for the current logon. If Lnn is entered, it is the same as if “L” is entered and “nn” is entered for the second prompt.
S or Snn: Stop a running phantom. This prompt is only available if at least one phantom is currently running. If “S” is entered, another prompt will display (nn, nn, nn, (A)ll, (L)ogon, (P)lanned):”. The “nn”s are a list of currently running phantoms. Entering “nn” will stop a specific phantom. Entering “A” will stop all phantoms on all logons. Entering “L” will stop all phantoms on this logon. Phantoms which are running will not stop until the next cycle. Entering “P” will activate the Planned Stoppage Screen. The Planned Stoppage option will not appear unless the PHANTOM.RESUME program has been appropriately installed. If Snn is entered, it is the same as if “S” is entered and “nn” is entered for the second prompt.
K or Knn: Kill a hung phantom. This prompt is only available if at lease one phantom is currently hung. If “K” is entered, another prompt will display (nn, nn, nn, (A)ll):”. The “nn”s are a list of currently hung phantoms. Entering “nn” will kill a specific phantom. Entering “A” will kill all hung phantoms. If Knn is entered, it is the same as if “K” is entered and “nn” is entered for the second prompt.
C: Will activate the Configuration Screen which is used to specify who will receive an email in the case of certain PJP system events, and also some other configuration parameters.
R: Refresh the display with current data. Note: Every time you refresh the display, the PHANTOM.MONITOR program is run to detect hung phantoms. This program is usually run hourly by the operating system.
